Jomana Zakaria
Psychologist & Clinical Psychology M.Sc. Candidate
AboutÂ
Hello! I'm Jomana Zakaria.
I'm a psychologist currently completing my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at the British University in Egypt. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The American University in Cairo.
I am a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT) through the Egyptian Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My training has also included the Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders, giving me a broader perspective on supporting individuals experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.
Alongside my academic training, I completed clinical training at Rakhawy Hospital for Mental Health and Addiction, where I had the opportunity to learn from experienced clinicians and gain exposure to a wide range of mental health presentations.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. I believe therapy is most effective when you feel heard and understood, creating the foundation for us to explore your experiences, understand the patterns behind your challenges, and work together to develop practical strategies for moving forward.
