About

Norhan Ibrahim ElAraby is a Counseling Psychologist and Career Coach with 7–8 years of clinical experience. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Journalism and her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from The American University in Cairo (AUC), graduating with High Honors. Her professional experience includes individual counseling with emerging adults and adults, school counseling, disability-related work, workshops, group therapy, and academic and career guidance. She works with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, relationships, trauma, grief and loss, identity concerns, and phase-of-life difficulties.

Clinical Experience

7–8 years of clinical experience, including 2,000+ therapy sessions. Norhan has experience in individual adult and emerging adult counseling, school counseling from KG2 to G10, and psychology teaching at G12 level. Her clinical training included the Psychological Counseling Services and Training Center at AUC, Inside Out Counseling Center, and Helm NGO for people with disabilities. She has also worked in HR and disability-related fields, conducted workshops and group therapy, contributed to curriculum development for caregivers of children with disabilities, and participated in psychological and independent-living components of Youth Toolkit research and design.
